sunburst mirror, check.

leave a comment »

No sunburst clock yet, but I did manage to grab a handsome sunburst mirror for $20 on craigslist.
Super sweet seller too (Hey, Maianna.)
check out that faux boisish texture!

**note: all photos on this blog, with few exceptions, are taken with my iphone.
I can’t even promise “real camera” pics anymore without feeling guilty.

– Vintage Globe is from Ebay. Not sure of the exact date. My guess is early 1940s. It’s pre-Israel, India is all one nation and Korea is Chosun and under Japanese rule. Looking at it transports me to another time. So neat. I want more. Here’s a nice one.

Keep Calm mini-poster was mod podged to a piece of cardboard. I kept the edges raw.

– Towle Nut Bowl being used for keys and change. It was part of a wedding gift from my sister-in-law.

Hello Poster was moved out of the playroom.

-Owl is from here.

This is the table. I wanted something simple, but the color did not work for me so I painted it a shiny grey.
