naked slider

Nope, not going to do add a treatment to the sliding patio doors. Well, not with any of the ugly options out there. I much rather leave it naked than do something like this. Ick.
what to do about the slider?
…and, man oh man, how much am I loving these shades?!
shades
The shades offer great privacy during the day while letting the sun in. At night, I draw the curtains on the bedrooms. The house feels like it is really starting to come together. Who knew that window treatments would make such a difference?

  1. I too would leave it naked, look at the light coming in and I too love those roller shades on the other windows too! Can I come live with you? =)

  2. I will post pics tomorrow of the shades in the other two rooms. They are just such a great value. And, yes, you know you are welcome anytime!!!

  4. They look great! Just be careful with the blind pulls. Make sure they are up out of reach especially in the kids’ rooms. Too many kids have strangled in them and for some reason the first thing they want to do with dangling cords is wrap them around their neck! Kira has done it a few times so it pays to be paranoid. Yay for safe window treatments!

  5. I love your shades too. The house looks really nice… the previous owner may want to buy it back from you. Great job!!!

  6. Well, I don’t think the previous owners are interested in our dinky little town anymore – they moved on UP to your town 😉

  7. @Kim W. I got rid of the blind pulls completely. The shades are now held together with this giant clips that attach to the back (they came with the shades). Still adjustable and, actually, a whole lot less aggravating! Thanks for the safety tip.
